Touch Screen Test

Touch points, drawing and coverage

The touch surface records the pointer events delivered to this page. Its three modes let you watch simultaneous points, inspect a drawn path and check which areas have received input.

Multi-touch input

Place several fingers on the surface and compare the active points with the fingers you are actually using. The reported maximum is a browser capability hint, while the session maximum is the largest count observed here. Browser gestures and device limits can affect which events reach a webpage.

Drawing and grid checks

Draw slowly across different regions, then follow the grid to inspect coverage. Look for interruptions that repeat in the same area. Keep your hand position and contact pressure natural, and clear the surface before repeating a route so the old marks do not obscure the comparison.

Document repeatable behavior

A browser page cannot by itself distinguish every hardware fault from a browser or operating-system gesture. Repeat an unexpected result in a normal drawing application when possible. The visual record stays in this page's session; restarting or leaving the page clears that temporary test state.

How to run the test

Mouse input cannot prove multi-touch works. Verify with a real touch device.

  1. Clean the screen and your fingers.

  2. Check multiple touch points and continuous traces.

  3. Sweep edges and corners using the coverage grid.

Patterns support visual inspection. Quantitative color accuracy, brightness, gamut coverage and response time require appropriate instruments and methods.

Frequently asked questions

Can this website automatically certify my screen?

No. It provides display test patterns and browser information. Screen anomalies that persist at the same position need visual inspection and, when needed, professional assessment.

Can I use a phone, tablet or TV?

Open the patterns and guides for your device. True full screen and touch depend on the browser; an immersive page preview remains available when full screen is unsupported.

Do I need to install software or upload data?

No installation is needed. Patterns, calculations and interactions run locally in your browser; theme preferences stay on your device.

What should I do if I notice a problem?

Rule out dust, reflections and display settings. Repeat under the same conditions, photograph defects that remain in the same screen position and check the device warranty policy.
